Paul 2011

" The film "Paul" (2011) follows two English comic book geeks, Graeme Willy (Simon Pegg) and Clive Gollings (Nick Frost), on a road trip across the US to visit UFO hotspots. Their journey takes an unexpected turn when they encounter an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) who has been held captive at a secret military base for 60 years and is now on the run. Graeme and Clive decide to help Paul escape the federal agents pursuing him (led by Jason Bateman's Agent Zoil) so he can rendezvous with his spaceship and return home."

The Blot 1921

"The Blot" (1921) is a silent film directed by Lois Weber, focusing on the struggles of a poor, genteel family. The Griggs family, including Professor Griggs, his wife, and their daughter Amelia, face poverty while living next to wealthy neighbors, the Olsens. Amelia attracts the attention of both a wealthy student, Phil West, and a local minister, highlighting the stark class divide. The film explores themes of poverty, class differences, and the challenges faced by the poor in a society with stark wealth inequality."
